I went to see The Nutcracker with my local frilly friends today. I wasn’t familiar with the story, so I had fun stringing the story together on my own based on my interpretation of the performance.
I’m not really happy about the coordinate since the blouse isn’t working so well with the dress’ collar detail, but I figured I should post something on Loliday weekend :”)

Bag, hairclips, necklace, blouse: offbrand
It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted outfit shots!
My apartment and everything I’ve owned (including my lolita collection) went to dust on the 20th of September. The material loss was devastating. I am very thankful to have survived the fire with nothing more than carbon monoxide poisoning and a chunk of hospital bills to pay, though.
This is an outfit that I wore to a meetup today. I thought that it would be an appropriate comeback post since it’s my first proper coordinate after the fire. I don’t think that my collection will ever get as large as it used to, but I’m looking forward to being able to wear lolita everyday again someday :”)

Last Saturday Illustration faculty member Mary Jane Begin 85 IL signed copies of her recently published My Little Pony: Under the Sparkling Sea (Little Brown) at the National Museum of American Illustration in Newport, RI. Highlights from the recently published book are on view…
Ah! My Dream Sky salopette is here! I wanted the navy one, but the blue one is growing on me ^.^
Bag: Angelic Pretty

While technically my second outfit, this is the one I’m most proud of making! I had a bit of a tough time getting it close due to the limited palette, but I think I did a reasonably good job.
Have any lolita dresses you’d like to have in New Leaf? I take requests!
